The pursuit of quality and excellence forms the foundation of our development project for the Colline del Vento winery. From the dry cultivation of vines to obtain small, concentrated grapes, to the harvesting of grapes on rows placed two and a half meters apart so that the roots and grapes can better breathe in the scent of the sea and the earth; from the care in the winemaking processes to bottling and bottle design, we handle every aspect of production with originality and utmost attention. Our wines tell who we are, the passion we put into our work, and the deep respect we have for our territory.
For us, producing wine means telling who we are. We put passion into our wines and make the best of what our generous land gives us. We produce not only for the market, even though that’s where the wine is destined, but above all for the pleasure of creating wines that we ourselves would love to drink. A life choice as well as a professional one.
We have decided to work only with grapes of our own production, because our vines are cultivated using traditional techniques and limited treatments that guarantee us a controlled raw material. The methods used in the vineyard and in the cellar are those typical of “high quality, techniques and criteria that today distinguish organic companies: very limited plant treatments, directly supervised in the field by an agronomist expert in” vine cultivation; dry farming, strictly hand-picked grapes, vinification at the time of harvest; aging and bottling directly in the cellar.
If the word “wine” has in its origin the meaning of “pleasure,” it is that same pleasure we seek in producing and enjoying our wines: in the pleasure of savoring in a glass of Brennas, Entu, C’Alma or Zankitai the most intense and natural flavors.
