Wine Tasting in the Vineyard in Villasimius
A walk through the rows and an aperitif under the carob tree
Not a guided tour, but a way into the land. You start by walking through rows of Cannonau and Vermentino with Mario and Gianluca, father and son, winemakers and storytellers of this place. Along the way you learn to recognise the plants of the Mediterranean scrub and discover what it means to make organic wine in Villasimius, on granite soils facing the sea.
You finish in the shade of an ancient carob tree, glass in hand, with a board of local specialities: the wines were born all around you.

The vineyard is outside the town centre and some stretches of road have no sidewalk: on request we arrange a transfer with partner drivers.
